It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Hackett of Washington Township, New Jersey, born in Newton, New Jersey, who passed away on December 2, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harmon Hoffman and Anna Hoffman; and her sister Carol Hoffman Rapsis. She is survived by: her husband George Hackett; her children, David Hackett (Vivian) of Hardy, VA, Cathleen Brewster (Tim) of Gainesville, FL and Suzanne Hackett (Mark Paul) of Chapel Hill, NC.; her grandchildren, Eric Brewster (Haley), Clint Brewster, Nolan Brewster, Morgan Paul, Jackson Paul and Andrew Paul; and her great grandchild Ainsley Brewster (Eric).
