He was predeceased by: his grandson Nicholas DeAngelis; his parents, Captain Leonard J. and Florence A. Sitter; and his brother Roderick Sitter. He is survived by: his wife Diane Chapline; his daughters, Dawn Armstrong (Sean) and Karen Blaszczyk (John); his grandchildren, John Blaszczyk (Almast), Kelly Blaszczyk (Dave Serra) and Zachary Armstrong; and his great grandchild Alex Blaszczyk.
