Safford III and Laureen Mendelero; his parents, Susan Safford (Riegert) and Joseph Buccella; his stepfather Robert F. Safford, Jr.; and his aunt Ginny Staib. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
