The family announces the passing of Elsie L. Whitmore of Washington, New Jersey on September 19, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell L. Van Sickle and Elsie Van Sickle (Reer); her husband Donald Whitmore Jr.; and her siblings, Thelma, Richard and Wendell.
She is survived by: her sons, Bradley Whitmore (Lisa), Wendell Whitmore (Shelly) and Donald Whitmore III (Patricia); her grandchildren, Zachary, Halle, Tyler, Aaron, Korey, Kyle and Killian; and her great grandchildren, Paisley, Mia, Luke, Lincoln, Nolan and Olivia.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bloomsbury Hose Company Banquet Hall (91 Brunswick Ave, Bloomsbury, NJ 08804).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elsie's memory to Common Sense for Animals in Broadway, NJ, Common Sense for Animals – Donations, or to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), Children's Hospital of Philadelphia – Giving.
