He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Whitehead Sr. and Edna Iris Cooper (Hitt); and his wife Linda Ann Whitehead. He is survived by: his children, Dawn L. Fisher of Phillipsburg, James W. Whitehead (Erin) of Washington and Jennifer L. Avia of Washington; and his brother John Whitehead (Janet) of York. He is also survived by four grand-children.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service (142 W Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882).
