She was predeceased by : her parents, Mildred Beasley and Leonard Beasley; her brother Harold Beasley of Washington; her cousin Tony Beasley; her niece Mildred Beasley; and her siblings-in-law, Hugh Black, John Clark Grinston, Thelma Black, Rose Grinston and Priscilla Grinston.

She is survived by : her children, Jamal Grinston of Columbus, Ohio and Tijena Bell; her grandchildren, Jayquan Brown, Tayvion Slappy and Kayvon Bell; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Beasley of Easton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
