He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacques Staples and Elisabeth Staples; his wife Vickie Staples; and his sister Cynthia Staples. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Staples (Nadia Mendez) and Nicholas Staples (Hannah); his brother Daniel Staples; his grandchildren, Mark "MJ" Staples, Kian Staples, Maximiliano Staples, Luciana Staples and Valentina Staples; his sister Jesica Mendez (David Oviedo); and his grandchildren, Kayleen Oviedo, Brianna Oviedo, Emily Oviedo, Noah Oviedo and Nathan Oviedo.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Knoll - DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service (142 W Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Washington Crossing National Veteran Cemetery (830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940).
