He was predeceased by: his parents, Franciszek Ziobro and Maria Ziobro (Hendzel); and his wife Czeslawa Ziobro (Baran) of Joseph's Church. He is survived by: his daughter Grace Simmons (Shaun); and his grandchildren, Thomas and Ann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Walter's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
