She was predeceased by: her parents, Ergino DeCarolis and Filomena DeCarolis. She is survived by: her husband Augusto Messercola; her son Bernardo Messercola (Fabiana); her grandchildren, Marco, Arianna, Gino, Stefanie and Matt; her great grandchild Luca; her grandchildren, Justin, Jenna and Lauren; her brother Ezio (Gina); her sister-in-law Eufrasia DeCarolis; her siblings, Nicola DeCarolis and Elena; her brother-in-law Felice Borgonsoli; her sister Pia; and her brother-in-law Emilio Martino. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations in her loving memory can be made to the Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, N.J. And donations to Padre Pio.
