He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glenn David Tewes and Catherine Teresa Howard Tewes; his sister Gayle Tewes; his daughter Colleen Papson (Scott); his siblings, Danny Tewes, Bethanne O'Leary (Robert), Julie Porter and Mary Kay Tewes; his sister-in-law Laura Spaulding; and his aunt Mary Lou Dunn. He was also cherished by 12 nieces and nephews; 9 great-nieces and great-nephews.
In Dave's memory, donations may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Wounded Warrior Project, organizations that reflect the depth of his compassion, the breadth of his care for others, and his patriotic spirit.
