He was predeceased by: his parents, Ettore Maggio and Mary Maggio; his wife Beverly F. Maggio; and his sisters, Nicoletta Costanza, Rosalie Condran, Rita Castiglione, Vera LeRose, Josephine Busichio and Esther Fallon.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Albers, Joseph Maggio, Jr., Karen Strowe (Thomas H. Strowe), Sharon Kantouros (Nick) and Susan Fluet (Gerry); his grandchildren, Jeff (Brandy), Michael (Jackie), Thomas (Kylie), Anthony, Nicholas, Emily (Peter), Andrew (Sophia) and Benjamin; and his great grandchildren, Rebecca, Joseph, Jeffrey, Jaedyn and Michael, Jr..
