He is survived by: his children, John Gagis (Judy) of Bernardsville, NJ, Dona Meringer (Jim) of Wayne and Judeth DeMonico (John) of Parsippany; his brother George Gagis (Mary) of Rutherford; his sister-in-law Artemis of Fair Lawn, NJ; his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Grant), Augustus (Bridget), Patricia (Huan), Joseph (Jessica), Lieutenant Commander, Abigail (Stephen), Donald, Emily (Matthew), Anna, Luke and Michael; and his great grandchildren, John Peter, Alessandra, Evelyn, Lyla, Chloe, Sarah, Callum and Theresa.
