She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacy Hutchins and Mary Ella Thomas; her husband Prestly Wood; and her nephew Jay Curtis Hutchins III. She is survived by: her brother J. Curtis Hutchins Jr.; her sister-in-law Darlene Hutchins; her nieces, Barbara May and Linda Wood; her grandchildren, Sirius Michaels, Malcom Michaels, Dawson Michaels and Kayla Williams; and her nephew Sean Middleton. She is also survived by grandnephews and grandnieces, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cotton Funeral Service (130 Main St, Orange, NJ 07050). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
