She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Zimmel and Cecilia Zimmel; her husband Daniel Hempstead; her son Daniel Jr.; her sister Joan; and her son-in-law Robert.

She is survived by: her daughter Donna Cooke; her grandchildren, Donna Macrone (Gabriel), Aimee Duffy (Sean), Katie Cooke, Meghan Zisa (Jude) and Daniel Hempstead, III; her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Olivia Macrone, Robert, Madeline, Peter Duffy and Jude Zisa, II; Kathleen Hempstead.
