She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Leitner; her parents, Federico Mendizabal and Reynalda Mendizabal; and her brothers, Philip Mendizabal, Manuel Mendizabal and Victor Mendizabal.
She is survived by: her brother Roberto Mendizabal (late Ellen Mendizabal); and her siblings-in-law, Carole Mendizabal, Maritza Mendizabal and Pegeen Mendizabal. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
