“Hal thank you so much for contacting me about Helen Pierce passing. I would not have missed the funeral if I had been at home. I was in upstate NY at my niece's wedding. Helen was a wonderful, caring, loving, giving, and kind woman. She became certified in braille instruction and before I retired as Social Worker for the Blind in Wayne County she gave her time to teach the Blind and visually impaired. She will be missed in so many ways. I loved her very much.”
