She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Chris Stad and Anna Van Der Stad; her husband Jacob G. Van Dalen; her children, Ruth Ann (John Bosch) of Wayne, Rebecca, Chris-John (Jana) and Jacob Jr. (Laura Van Dalen) of Wallkill, NY; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jacob III and Kristina; her son Jan (Lori Van Dalen) of Easton, MD; her grandson Michael (Lacey); her great grandchildren, Joseph, Caroline and Samuel; her grandchildren, Daniel, Rachel and Jonathan (Shirley Van Dalen) of Grand Rapids, MI; her great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Colleen, Melanie and Meghan; her brothers, Len Van Der Stad (Alyce) of Wayne, Dave Van Der Stad (Lois) of Wayne and Cornelius "Neil" Van Der Stad (Grace) of North Haledon; Elizabeth. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
She reluctantly retired in 2020 because of COVID.
