He is survived by: his children, Susan Rivenes (Robert, Jr.) of Wayne and James "Ron" Herman (Sally) of Pompton Plains; his grandchildren, James "Jimmy" Rivenes, Amanda Herman, Ashley (John De Ritter), Steven Herman, Billy Herman and Joshua Herman; his great grandchildren, Madeline and Brooke; and his sibling's children, Ron, David and Wendy.
