We are sad to announce that, on February 17, 2026, Jiri Hlavaty of Wayne, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vitezslav Hlavaty and Anna Horakova; his in-laws, William and Margaret Wedemeier; and his brothers-in-law, Alan Wedemeier and Mike Messina.
He is survived by: his wife Arleen Hlavaty (Wedemeier); his daughter Amanda Hlavaty; his sister Milena Passos; his sisters-in-law, Carol Warren and Coreen Messina; his sister Dianne; and his brother-in-law Matt Effertz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
