Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joan Peano of Wayne, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away at the age of 88, on November 19, 2025. As we bid Joan farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her sisters, Carol Semeraro and Alice Tummino; and her son Michael Peano. She is survived by: her children, Antonia "Toni" Meyer and John Peano; her brother Nick; her grandchildren, Rachel Meyer and Vincent Peano; and her great grandchild Vanessa Meyer.
