We are sad to announce that, on November 30, 2025, Joanne Okken of Wayne, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jacobus "Jack" Okken; and her siblings, Walter Hoogmoed (late Evelyn), Gertrude Van Houten (late Paul), Cornelius Hoogmoed (late Claire) and Cornelia "Cookie" Hoogmoed.
She is survived by: her children, Laura (Jake Van Dalen) of Middletown, NY, Craig (Cathy Okken) of Sparta, James (Andrea Okken) of Hackettstown and Joseph (Christene Okken) of Park Ridge; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Kristina, Emma, Shannon, Jackson, Callie, Adley, Hanna, Ronald and Amelia; and her siblings, Lena "Winkie" Southway (late Peter), Elizabeth Okken (late Henry) and Arthur Hoogmoed (Chris). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
