Kathleen leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Kathleen’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Kathleen will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George DeMaio and Mary Katherine DeMaio (McDermott); and her sisters, Winnie Darnulc and Trudi Nesbitt. She is survived by: her sons, Nicholas S. Massas (Jim) of Ramsey, NJ and Jackson (Ana) of Palo Alto, CA; and her sister Maureen Ruocco (Dennis) of Reedville, VA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home (109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ 07446).
