With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Monk of Wayne, New Jersey, born in New Milford, New Jersey, who passed away on October 31, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lorraine Monk to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olga (George Arnold) and NJ; her grandsons, Kevin Rossi (Aubrey Nagle), James Rossi (Kacee Rossi), Brett Boes and Christopher Boes; and her great grandchild Zoey Rossi.
She is survived by: her sister Adele; her brother-in-law George Zawisa; and her sibling's children, Michael Zawisa (Tina Zawisa), John Zawisa (Daria Zawisa), Koriann and Dylan.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home (567 Ratzer Rd, Wayne, NJ 07470). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (580 Ratzer Rd, Wayne, NJ 07470).
In lieu of flowers, Lorraine asked that memorial donations be made to the Chris Boes Foundation in honor of her grandson. A check can be sent to Sandra & Bill Boes at 49 High Street, West Milford, NJ 07480, made out to Chris Boes Foundation, or via Venmo to William Boes @chrisboesfoundation.
