With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Tierney of Wayne, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Damian Vega Serrano and Maria Lugo; her husband Ronald Tierney; her brother Rafael Vega Lugo; and her brother-in-law Robert Tierney.
She is survived by: her daughter Lindsey Widmayer (Andrew) of Wayne, NJ; her granddaughter Gabriella Widmayer; her siblings, Carmen Barros (Rodolfo), Jose Vega Lugo, Mercedes Vega Lugo (Noel), Priscilla Vega Lugo (Ruben), Onix Vega Lugo (Blanca) and Nydia Vega Lugo; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Tierney (Barbara) and Genoveva Tierney. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
