She was predeceased by: her grandmother Marie Ricca; her parents, John Overmere and Irene Overmere; her siblings, Irene Moltane (Ernie Moltane), Edward Overmere and Elizabeth Messenger (Wallace Messenger); and her husband Donald Ricca.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Ricca and Donna Siconolfi (Philip); her grandchildren, Dominic Ricca Siconolfi (Monse Vallejo), Marissa Siconolfi and Angelo Siconolfi; her goddaughters, Christine Wimberly and Darlene Vazquez; her nephews, Edward Overmere, Gary Moltane (Gloria) and Dougie Moltane; and her caregivers, Claresa, Tina and Emma. She is also survived by cousins and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home (567 Ratzer Rd, Wayne, NJ 07470). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Valley RomanCatholic Church (630 Valley Rd, Wayne, NJ 07470).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you carry on Marie's essence by "passing your talents/kindness forward" in her name – be it in actions or memorial donations.
