We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2025, Myra Sokol of Wayne, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Myra farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Myra is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Myra; her brother Steve; her sister-in-law Judy; her son Joel; her daughter-in-law Natalie; her grandchildren, Leora, Aaron and Caleb; her daughter Sharon; her son-in-law Gordon; and her grandchildren, Gregor, Nathan and Daniel.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Crest Lawn Memorial Park (2000 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318).
