With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Owen Lyon of Wayne, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Joanne. He is survived by: his significant other Frances Cort of South Orange; his children, Karen (John Holmes) of Perkasie, PA, Sharon (Paul Giordano) of Lincoln Park and Tom Lyon (Joe Breen) of Montclair; his grandchildren, John, Julie Holmes of Long Valley, NJ, Justin, Alise Holmes of Perkasie, PA, Jessica, Derek Fromm of Quakertown, PA, Taylor Giordano of Springfield and Michael Giordano of Lincoln Park; his great grandchildren, Mila Rose Holmes, Brody Holmes, Jackson Holmes, Charlotte Rae Holmes, Colton Fromm, Caleb Fromm and Avery Fromm; and his close friend Riley.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home (567 Ratzer Rd, Wayne, NJ 07470). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (580 Ratzer Rd, Wayne, NJ 07470).
