Ramon Zarate Obituary
In loving memory of Ramon Zarate of Wayne, New Jersey, who departed this world on May 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Ramon leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Hilda G. Zarate; and his parents, Alberto Zarate and Mariana Zarate. He is survived by: his children, Monica Zarate and Gino Zarate (Victoria); his siblings, Evita Miñaca, Mariana Calvache (Guillermo) and Carlos Oswaldo Zarate (Alexandra Baca Zarate); his grandchildren, Jessica, Lucia (Jeff Kraft), Kaitlin (Artie Scarano) and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Jeffrey and Mason. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley (540 Franklin Ave, Nutley, NJ 07110). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church (473 Main St, Little Falls Township, NJ 07424). An entombment was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Holy Cross Chapel (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
In lieu of flowers, Plant a Tree in his memory, or donations may be made in Ramon's name to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital http://www.stjude.org.
