For Ruth is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Houten and Anna Van Houten; and her husband Jacob Kozell. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Kozell of Nutley, NJ, Donna Kozell of Clifton, NJ, Doreen Catelli (Donald) of Doylestown, PA and Dawn Kennedy (Richard) of Pompton Plains, NJ; her sister Elizabeth Marchitti (John) of Totowa, NJ; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Catelli, Joseph Catelli and Megan Kayal (James).
