She was predeceased by: her father John Rajan. She is survived by: her daughters, Amaya and Nora; her brothers, Patrick and Stanley; and her mother Sugandhi Rajan.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to organizations supporting causes close to Shirley's heart such as adolescent mental health.
