She is survived by: her children, Sandy Hernandez and Nilda Caridad Hernandez; her sister Berta Socorro; and her nieces and nephews, Emma Benavidez, Jesus, Noel Socorro, Bertico, Fernando Medina and Margarita Basulto. She is also survived by friends were adopted family members and all their children were nieces and nephews.
