He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alberta and Helen Alberta. He is survived by: his children, Bobbi Scheffler (Greg "Shef"), John Alberta III (Kelly), Charles "Chip" Alberta (Judy) and Michael Alberta (Lisa); his sister Barbara Burleigh (Joe); his grandchildren, Michael (Allison), John (Amy), Kelcy, Amy (Steve), C. J., Bridgett, Michael Jr. (Bella), Matthew, Adam and Emily; and his great grandchildren, Lilly, Westin, John V, Adrian, Jamal, Gianna, Angellina and Dominic.
