It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marianne A. Caravela of West Caldwell, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Lilore and Emily Lilore. She is survived by: her husband Joseph M. Caravela; her children, Stephanie Caravela (Ricardo Pina), Joseph Caravela (Amy) and Thomas Caravela (Kris); her grandchildren, Veronica (Zach Posner), Dean Caravela (Juliana), Ava Caravela, Isabel Caravela, Sophia Maoli (Kevin Nikiel), Lillian Caravela and Quinton Caravela; her great grandchild Ellie Jo Posner; and her brother Ralph Lilore (Marianne). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
