He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Philip Cortese and Rose Aquaro; his wife Kathleen Cortese (NJ); his daughter Nicole Serhat (Mike); his stepdaughters, Laura Pfeiffer (Chris Brecht) and Kristine DiNardo (Vincent); his granddaughters, Heather Flenard, Gabriella Serhat and Lucia Serhat; his great grandchildren, Cole and Jace Campbell; and his sister Phyllis Cortese.

In remembrance of Bob, the family suggests donations be made to the Hackensack Meridian Health Foundation, supporting Home Care and Hospice, whose staff provided invaluable support to Bob and Kathleen during his final days.
