He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Pienkowski and Walter E. Pienkowski; and his sister Charlene Pienkowski Parker. He is survived by: his daughters, Elena M. Pienkowski of New York and Kristen M. Fitzgerald (Daniel B. Fitzgerald) of Fairfield, Connecticut; his granddaughters, Quinn, Keira and Shelby; his close friend Diane McCarty; and his sister-in-law Joan Shields.
