He is survived by: his children, David Townsend (Jean), Mary Weaver (Jow), Stephen Townsend (Laurna) and John Townsend; his grandchildren, Jessica Wroblewski (PJ), Kevin Townsend (Tiffanni), Rebecca Schultz (Brad), Jennifer Rose (Matthew), Daniel Townsend, Emily Pepper (Michael) and Megan Townsend; his great grandchildren, Kathleen Wroblewski, Caleb Rose, Arianna Rose, Paul Wroblewski, Benjamin Townsend, Chloe Schultz, Nicholas Townsend and Simon Schultz; and his siblings, Julia Townsend, Lance Townsend (Lynne), Jayme Townsend and Brian Townsend (Caroline). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
