She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland T. Simmons and Doris Simmons; her brother Lee M. Simmons; her brother-in-law William B. Shoemaker; and her in-laws, William C. and Betty Trudeau.

She is survived by: her husband William D. Trudeau; her children, Mark of Hardyston, NJ and Beth Sprigman (CJ) of Mickleton, NJ.; her granddaughters, Jenna and Erica Sprigman; her sister Karen J. Shoemaker of Palm Coast, FL; and her in-laws, Lynne M. Simmons of Wentzville, MO, Ronald, Carol Trudeau of Barrington, IL, Doreen and Craig Anderson of Kamuela, HI.
