It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Judith G. Hedgecock of West Milford, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Wadley and Beatrice Wadley (Ryan). She is survived by: her husband James "Jimmy" Hedgecock; her daughters, Jamie McLaughlin and Tricia Bright; her sons-in-law, Travis Bright and Denis McLaughlin; her grandchildren, Joseph McLaughlin, Ryan McLaughlin, Carly McLaughlin, Brynn Masker and Regan Bright; her sisters, Geraldine Wadley Schlam and Pam Wadley Sassone; and her sister-in-law Martha Hedgecock. She is also survived by her family, dedicating herself to her daughters, her grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Richards Funeral Home - West Milford (1440 Union Valley Rd, West Milford, NJ 07480). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her honor.
