It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott M. Schlieper of West Milford, New Jersey, who passed away on September 16, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Scott M. Schlieper to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Schlieper and Doris Schlieper; his wife Heather Todd-Schlieper; his son Matthew Schlieper (Megan Sharma); his grandson William Schlieper of Barre, Vermont; his son Jeremy Schlieper (Nicolle Chirinos) of Wayne; and his siblings, Jean Cave of Torrington, Mark Schlieper (Pam) of Rye, Bruce Schlieper (Lisa) of Portsmouth and Arthur "Sandy" Schlieper.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home (567 Ratzer Rd, Wayne, NJ 07470). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A repast was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Church, Parish Center (454 Germantown Rd, West Milford, NJ 07480). During the COVID-19 crisis, Scott was an essential worker who worked tirelessly each day to ensure residents received nourishing meals.
