He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Flaherty and Catherine Flaherty; his siblings, Eleanor Brennan (Frank), Peggy Sieben (Marty) and Robert Flaherty; and his son-in-law Gregory Devero.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Murphy; his daughters, Mary-Jane Masella (Bill), Nancy Murphy (Kevan), Regina Janacek (Doug), Claire Rose (Ralph) and Megan Devero; his grandchildren, Katie Davidson (Brad), Kevan Jr. (Chrissy), John, Michael, Benjamin (Erin), Patrick, Caeli, Matthew, Chloe and Caroline; his great grandchildren, Tessa, Aubree, Kevan III, Kallen and Kane; and his sister-in-law Wynne Flaherty. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church.
