He was predeceased by: his parent Nigel; and his brothers, Clairmont Austin and Denis Shung. He is survived by: his wife Dawn R. Short-Austin; his parents-in-law, Anna and Larkie Short; his aunt MaryEtta Faulkner; his siblings, Euclin Blair (George), David Austin (Sandy), Aubrey Shung Cassie Lenox (Judy), Carla Austin, Horace Austin (Arnette), Mark Austin, Michelle Hodges, Jason and Gazal Payman; his sisters-in-law, Desiree E. Short and Lisa Hart Stanton; and his siblings' children, Kennedie Austin, Katie Austin, Kaiden Austin, Justin Austin, Kaivon Stewart, Mya Brown, April Stanton, Dominique Sweeney, Jesse Hodges and Zaria Hodges. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, lifelong friends and many co-workers.
