It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Edward McQuillan of West Orange, New Jersey, born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine McQuillan and Joseph McQuillan. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Karen Butta (Gregory) of Millbrook, Matthew McQuillan of Branchburg, Mary Walsh (Robert) and Mark McQuillan (Pilar) of Boulder, Colorado.; his grandchildren, Thomas Butta, Teresa Butta, Madeline Butta, Robert Walsh, John Walsh, Nora Walsh, Markus Prostko and Emma Prostko; his great grandchildren, Logan Butta, Sienna Butta and Amara Haass; and his sisters, Ellen O'Malley of Lakewood, NJ and Ann Ferrie (William) of Brick. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
