He is survived by: his parents, Robert Rankin and Carol Rankin; his children, Prince Rankin, Tiana Rankin, Kenneth Rankin Jr. and Maya Rankin; and his brothers, Richard and Thomas Zellars. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his dog.
