Leonardo Ruggiero Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonardo Ruggiero of West Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Rosina; his parents, Matteo Ruggiero and Angiolina Ruggiero; and his sister Carmina Iuso. He is survived by: his children, Angela Petrucelli (Joseph) and Matteo Ruggiero (Marcy); his grandchildren, Joseph Petrucelli (Jennifer), Matthew Petrucelli (Nicholas), Jason Ruggiero and Jaclyn Ruggiero; his great grandchildren, Dean and Grace Petrucelli; and his daughter-in-law Desiree.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dancy Memorial (9 Smull Ave, Caldwell, NJ 07006). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
