Phillip J. Garaffa Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Phillip J. Garaffa of West Orange, New Jersey. Phillip, born on November 28, 1938, passed away on August 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Garaffa and Catherine Garaffa (Fiorello); and his brothers, Frank, Nicholas, Anthony and James Garaffa.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Garaffa and Barbara Hemmerling (Garaffa); his granddaughters, Emma and Eva Garaffa; his sister Phyllis Wallace; his friend Margaret Smith; his children-in-law, Christina Garaffa (Crociata) and Donald Hemmerling; and his friends, Stan Koza and Walter Lashuk. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
