It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter J. Winrow Jr. in West Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Winrow and Walter Winrow; and his sister Catherine Platz. He is survived by: his sister Claire; his wife Shirley; his children, Regina Hurley, Christy Clifford (Rick), Walter (Christine), Theresa Barbato (Guy), David (Kamelia Kameli) and Grace Sharpe (Timothy); his grandchildren, Caitlin, Juliana, Natale, Walter, Harrison, Eleanor, Gabrielle, Paul, Marie, Sarah, Cyrus and Harley; and his great grandchildren, Matthew, Connor, Leah, Lila and Jonah.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to the Christian Appalachian Project would be appreciated.
