She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Donavon and Sadie Haskins; her husband George; her sister Lillian; and her stepchildren, Karen and Anthony.
She is survived by : her daughters, Renee (Christopher) and Rhonda (Keith); her stepson George, Jr. (Savaughn); her grandchildren, Christopher II (Imani), Mitchell, Jr., Sheena Renee (Brandon), Averre (Rachel), Jasmine Elyse, Gabrielle (Gregory), Laura Ann (Jason) and Anthony, Jr.; and her nephews, Albert III (Renee), Samuel (Margie) and Ronald Mills (Phyllis).
