He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schmid and Doris Schmid; and his brother John Schmid. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Jane Petteruti (Richard) and Bette Demsey (Rick); his daughters, Lisa Byrne (Mike) and Carolyn Baumann (Mike); and his grandchildren, Jackson Byrne, Madelyn Byrne, Brian Byrne, Mikey Baumann and Jake Baumann.
