He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Watson and Elizabeth Gathright; his wife Rosalie; and his brother Robert Gathright. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Gathright, Robert Battle, Frank Wagner (Stefanie) and William Wagner (Elsa); and his grandchildren, Cole Wagner and Kristyn Wagner. He is also survived by neighbors and friends.
