It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn Charles Hopler Sr. (Wharton, New Jersey), born in Dover, New Jersey, who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Hopler and Ruth Mae Hopler (Kagan); his wife Helen Henderson Hopler; and his siblings, Leslie, Dalton, Virgil, Butch, Keith and Donna Mower.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn Hopler II of Wharton, NJ and Amy Roberts (Philip) of Frankford, NJ.; his grandchildren, Joseph Hook, Katrina Roberts, Carolyn Roberts, Carissa Roberts and Jackson Roberts; his brother Wayne Hopler of Oneonta, NY; his goddaughter Tammy Roe of Swiftwater, PA; and his sister-in-law Alice White of Swiftwater, PA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bermingham Funeral Home (216 S Main St, Wharton, NJ 07885). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the American Legion Post #27 (2 Legion Pl, Dover, NJ 07801).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, Dover American Legion Post 27, Wounded Warrior Project or a charity of your choice.
